Meanwhile, people are being promised free recharge using PM Modi’s name via Whatsapp. Along with this, links are also being shared.
Actually, cyber thugs are cheating innocent people these days. For this, they use different tricks and then trap people. Now people are getting a message on Whatsapp, which says, “Narendra Modi In celebration of ji becoming the Prime Minister, BJP Party has promised to give a free 3-month recharge of Rs 599 to all Indian users. So recharge your number now by clicking on the blue link given below.”
Press Information Bureau (PIB) had recently issued an alert on this WhatsApp message on X handle. In this, they had warned to be cautious of such scams. Along with this, they had declared such messages as fake.

Do not make the mistake of clicking on the link given in the message
If scammers send such messages, do not make the mistake of clicking on the given link. On clicking the scammer’s link, a website opens in which PM Modi’s photo has been used. Along with this, you are also being asked to check recharge offers. If you fill in your details, then you get messages like ‘Thank you and I Got Free Recharge’. This message may be to deceive people. In such a situation, do not follow this process completely and you can protect yourself from being cheated.
